The problem with this article is the past tense employed and the
emphais on the Third Reich all of which is spurious based, to begin
with, on the information in the article itself.
Clearly "enforced sterilization, incarceration, and eventually
extermination" should have additionally included forced and coersed
toxic psychiatric drugging; also the discussion of "doctor" as
selector for validity needs to immediately herein be connected to
current paradigm of DSM categorization with the psychiatrist doctor
as selector.
S.S.R.I.s have sexual "side effects" while making the person
robotically fit for work.
Neuroleptic
(dopamine system willpower/volition/initiative/higher
functoning poisoning)
drugs (lept from the greek for "to seize' --
nervous system seizing drugs) of course make the persor tamer, more
vegetable like, docile, ineffectual, apathetic, incapable, impaired
while causing ongoing brain damage and neuroendocrine and liver
toxicity. The person will be less likely to breed or suceed and
generally will degerate. Death is hastened, and life and breeding
interfered with. Society is controlled and unconventional and exceptional people who will not mold easily to the controlled society are dealt with.

The "scientific" rationale used to justify these travesties is the
psychiatric diagnostic system called the Diagnostic and Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

"Doctors as "selectors"
The operant paradigm of medical practice during the Hitler period was
that of the physician as a "selector" acting on behalf of the state
in order to improve the health of the nation (Volksgesundheit).
Having defined people as an underclass or a risk to the genetic or
racial health of the population, medical science deemed the so
called "inferiors" to be appropriate "subjects" who could be selected
for enforced sterilization, incarceration, and eventually
extermination. "
