depends on your state, usually ssdi wil want a medical set aside for future bills that medicare will now pick up

hi Bitzer, sorry so long to reply. been in Florida for a while, here is a brief timeline of happenings in my SSDI&W/C case.
Nov.2nd.1992 injured at work and hospitalised.
April 1993 filed product liability lawsuit surrounding my work injuries.
Aug 1993 filed for SSDI still hospitalised, (denied)
Nov. 1994 still in rehab from injuries, refiled for SSDI
March 12th. 1995 released from rehab sent home.
May 1995 settled lawsuit, settled with W/C after settling lawsuit, settled W/C with lifetime medical and lost wages paid monthly, that way no medicare set aside, any medical W/C don't cover? medicare picks up.
June 1995 SSDI approved W/C checks reduced from bi-weekly to monthly amount reduced to $713 per month from $2700 from amount awarded from lawsuit, had to repay W/C $1.6 million dollars. been almost 13 years, W/C still contacts me every 3-5 years just checking, SSDI has sent me only one short form cdr review 7 questions, have called on phone maybe twice?
have never had any problems with either
best of luck to you and God bless
Larry/coupe
PS. my brother in law was/is my W/C lawyer:)
