Hey all, my name is Bridget. I'm soon to be 23 on the 15th of this month and I'm a mother of a lil boy who is turning 3 this saturday. I'm writing to see if i could possibly find some answers or some help. It all started with i was in a really bad car acciden back in nov.07 and since then ive had really severe headaches, neck pain, i can hear my heartbeat in my left ear, short term memory loss, and i always have pain on the left side of my head. well just recently they finally decided to run some tests after going to another dr. they did a mri and mra of my brain and found i have a small aneurysm on the left side of my brain and i also have empty sella syndrome. my concern with the anuerysm is rather high. the dr.'s really arent telling me anything until i go to the specialist at dartmouth on feb. 9th and its killing me waiting that long. im on all kinds of meds for other things from my accident and just health in general and i wondering if i should even be on them. but what im asking is there anyone who had a small aneurysm and what your options were?? i have my ct angiogram tues. to find out the exact location and size but ive already been told its pretty small. does anyone know what they do for rather small ones? am i looking at surgery? a bunch of tests? or them just leaving it alone? im scared of them just leavin it alone after all ive read about how u cant be under stress and the chance of stroke. my life is full of stress goin through a custody battle for my son and the father is always threatening to kill me like that isnt stressfull right.... so i was just wondering if anyone knows by experience or just knows a lot more than i do cause im new to all this and dont really know, im just wondering if anyone has a clue what they might suggest. im just really worried i lost my gram back in 2001 to brain cancer and she didnt even find out she had it under she had a really bad stroke and hearing im at risk for a stroke with this is rather scary after seeing my gram go through it. so if anyone can be of any sort of help i would truely appreciate it! Thanks, Bridget
