Edit Signature?

Why is it that when I try to edit my signature by taking words away, it says I have exceeded the word limit? I've tried so many times. I thought it was a fluke so waited a month and tried again. What am I doing wrong? Obviously, I can't be exceeding word limits if the words are already there and I'm taking words away. Makes no sense to me so I must be doing something wrong.

The character (all letters, spaces, and numbers) limit in signatures was changed awhile back, those signatures that exceeded the new limit were grandfathered in.

So if your signature is too big for the new limit, and you don't take away enough to make it fit, you'll get the error.

The current limit is 500 characters (letters, spaces, numbers).

If you want you can pm me with the changes and I can override the limit.
