Where is it best for a person with Parkinsons Disease to live? What I mean is where are they more comfortable, in dry warm area, warm moist area, cool area, High in mountains Low to the ground.
I'm not asking where to live to keep from getting worse or anything like that, I'm asking where to live so that they are more comfortable. I have noticed that when Cold my husband shakes more, I just need some input please.

Vitamin d and Parkinson's (http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=8791&highlight=vitamin+D) There is very good reason to believe that higher vitamin D status offers neuroprotection. It follows that a climate where full body, non burning, sun exposure could be obtained daily would be ideal for those with Parkinson's.
In place of that sufficient Vitamin D3 to raise status to 60~70ng or 150~175nmol/l probably around 1000iu for each 25lbs weight or around 6000iu/daily for a man should after 3 months or so improve feelings of well being.
this study shows that where you are born (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8282470) affects your chance of getting Parkinson's with greater incidence further north. Low Vitamin D status as a child increasing the risk.
