For surgery in the AM. But not brain surgery! Hayley was found to have obstructive sleep apnea, and they are taking the tonsils tommorrow. Wish her luck!

The operation went well, her tonsils and adnoids were huge! She spent last night in the MSICU, due to her other issues just in case. The new wing there is very high tech. She was still de-sating until 3 am, around 4 am, she started to come back without o2. We came home today. Two weekends in a row in the hosp, great way to start the new year. But hey, none of that matters to me, she is back home!

That's definitely not the way to start out a New Year! My thoughts and prayers are with her. The specialist who removes tonsils in my area gives all little female patients complimentary pierced ears (to help take their mind off of the tonsil removal) of course with the parent's permission! Just a little tidbit I wanted to share! I'm so glad she is at home now and in your excellent care! ;) Stacy.
