I had an MRI that came back white spots but otherwise they say normal and MRI report states normal. It was initially mentioned by my PCP sounds like MS she then sent me to neurologist.
This man spent 5-10 minutes with me barely spoke, acted like I was interfering with his schedule, gave me a prescription of migranol & one of fioricet (sp?) and sent me on my way.
I go back to him this Monday.
After going over list after list of ms symptoms, it's like a text book reading of my medical history. Furthermore everything has went hairycairy that past 1-2 months.
No specific order:
Constant all over pain
Head pain & migraine headaches ( there is an obvious felt difference)
eye pain, Had blurred vision in left eye though it was my right eye that had most pain.
EXTREME fatigue - I had off work for 4 days over Christmas and slept the entire time, I have off 4 days over New Years and CAN"T WAIT to sleep.
hand & feet numbness & burning - variates
Jaggy, shocky, Stabbing pains primarily in upper thighs & abdomen but have pretty much had all over.
Thats tip of ice burg
Combine that with Rheumatiod Arthritis and freshly diagnosed Celiacs Dx ( 6/08) And had to have thyroidectomy 6/08 ....
2008 has been a wonderful freaking year.
I have 2 relatives with MS. Is it generally hereditary?
And how possible does it sound to have all these "confirmed diagnosis" I keep feeling as if I'm being missed diagnosed, because with following a strict precise medication schedule , gluten free diet and all other doctor orders I can't seem to get my medical life under control. And doctors are treating me as if I'm a nut case.
Anybody else been there and done that?
Thanks for listening. And any advise would be more then greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
VRAWS1
Tracey
PS Already have a plan of shock awe and furious attitude in preparing for this dr appt with neurologist again on Monday. He isn't going to know what hit him!
And biggest thing I forgot to mention is memory & thinking processes. OMG. Forgetting everything and when I am talking having a conversation I have a really hard time thinking of the works that I know are right there on the tip of my tongue!
