My stomach is in knots, Ri is miserable.
Going back and reading the post I did after we got home from the ER I also realized that the one time she was discharged we ended up right back there less than 24 hours later.
Once we got home I had to leave her with Victoria, Brittany had an dentist appointment (had to get two teeth pulled, I couldn't not take her) I have been gone almsot all day. When I got home a couple of hours ago Ri was burning up, I checked her temp and it was 103.7. Even after motrin it was 103.3. So we gave her tylenol on top of it and it has come down to 102.9.
Fever = seizures, so there have been a few of those too. Victoria said she had a few jerks, but nothing really bad and it was close to time for her Ativan. Which is why she didn't call me. She gave her the Ativan and the seizures calmed down. But as her fever went up she had a couple of the nasty ones. She has woken up a little, enough to tell us to cut the lights off, or be quieter. As long as this is as bad as it gets it will be ok.
I want to throw up considering what the next couple of days are going to bring. I have this false hope it will only be a 24 hour bug :( but well, I know better.
She has an aweful headache right now, the slightest sound is making her cry, from the seizure earlier no doubt. She is laying in bed with the lights off now. I am watching her on the video monitor. I should really be wrapping presents right now, but I am in such a "Bah Humbug" mood that I can't do it. Thankfully there isn't that much left that needs wrapping.
Ok, I am going to go lay down while I can. I am certain it will be a very long night ahead.
