For A Moment

I dream of snatching
my body from it's grip
if just for a moment
escape the iron fist.

I feel them again
things I took for granted
limbs that do what I wish
with smooth graceful movements.

Weightless in dreamland
swimming free with sleek fish
in the cool quiet depths
air bubbles surround me.

Spinning and flipping
laughing loud deep inside.
Sweet tears streak my goggles
a fat porpoise joins me.
