He passed on Veterans Day. It seems fitting as he was a soldier in the air force for 20 years. Age almost 82. Just short of it.

Well, the family is starting the arguing. Always something. Now it's about what type of coffin!
I'm taking a day for myself tomorrow.
Everyone has now been called, people flying in from 2000 miles away.
Didn't get to sleep until 3 a.m. last night.
Think I'll take a nap, bye.

Everything has settled down now.
All arrangements are made and the funeral is set for Saturday.
Still another night and little sleep.
Hope tonight is better.
Thanks for all the support.
I seldom if ever visit this forum as I usually go to Caregivers and others but I noticed your name and recognized it from Comic Relief forum. Just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. I usually am more verbal on Veteran’s day as well but not this year. I think they deserved more than just a day of recognition.

I have been off-line for a few days. I am sorry I couldn't respond sooner. I am so sorry for your loss :( I will also keep you and your family in my prayers.

I, too, have been gone for the last couple of days. I am so sorry to hear about your FIL. I do hope there will be no fighting after he is gone. That happened with my FIL and Father after they passed and there are still hurt feelings, years after.
Saying a prayer for the family,
Linda
