Hi all,

Nice to have braintalk back, I have learned alot about this crazy MS stuff from here. My problem I'm having is my feet. For so far 4 days straight they are buzzing, my left foot is the one that always does this, now my right has just started doing it. When I stand on my feet they are getting pins and needles in them. Its driving me crazy. I'm always fatigued but when something new comes along its off the charts.
Does this sound like a flare or just another symptom. Thanks for your help.

td,

My guess is that your feet will stop buzzing in a while. Many odd happenings come and go with MS. Try to ignore as much as possible, especially with the small stuff.

Hello,
I've had this pretty much since I was dx. All the time! Sometimes it's worse (throbbing, pulsing, BUZZING) usually when I'm hot or tiree, and sometimes it is just there (more mellow buzzing) and I don't really notice it until I think about it.
The key is to keep you mind occupied. That is how I deal with this symptom.

Tons o fun!

Peace out,
:)

Sounds like another symptom and if you have or haven't been diagnosed with MS yet I would at least call the neuro's office and have them put it into your chart for discussion on your next visit.

O.T. I could help thinking this when I read you subject line of "Feet Buzzing." My thought was, "well stop standing on your vibrator."

Sorry, I just have a sick sense of humor but being homebound I don't have any other crowd to bounce my one liners off of.

Before I was dx'd I almost didn't want to tell anyone that I felt buzzing in my legs. Seemed so weird to me and I knew most people would think it was the craziest thing. When I told my neuro he just shook his head cause he's heard it before.
I still have it and it just sort of comes and goes. MS has very strange symptoms sometimes.

"New, or worsening of existing symptoms, which last beyond 24 - 48 hours" is usually an indication of a relapse.

In my particular experience, with this symptom occurring in both feet, it lead to transverse myelitis (spinal lesion) attacks. If this is the case, the numbness, etc. may start to move up your legs over the next several days.

Otherwise, it may just indicate something going on in your spine, perhaps.

Thanks all for your info. I know what you mean by moving up the leg this has been happening. I dont always call my nero, I just tell him what happens if anything when my next app comes along. I have been dx with MS for 3 1/2 years now. I do see a MS specialest I'm on Betaseron, started out on Copaxone.
Well nice talking to you all, and thanks again for the info. Craig you did make me laugh.
Take care all,

If it doesn't subside, it advances, or starts to move up the legs, personally I would be looking for a fever AND getting checked for a UTI (or other infection). This is from my experience with TM-type attacks . . .

Definitely worth following up with the Neuro or doc after this length of time with symptoms.

* If is does progress, please feel free to PM me if you have concerns. This type of attack can be quite different then other one's I've experienced.

Good luck.

Cherie
