View Full Version : Krissi
I spoke with Krissi this morning in the hospital. She is recovering and may get to go home later.
She says that it may be awhile before she will be sitting and online. I can understand that. I believe she will keep us informed and as soon as she can, be back online and helping others.
She's a keeper for sure.

I'm not able to post so hope this goes through......
I have been having a hard time posting some myself, just not enough patience to wait that LONG!.
Krissi had surgery scheduled and went ahead and had it. There is a bit more I think going on, with her husband's health as well. I hate saaying that as I don't see where it has been mentioned. I did not hear from her today. I called the hospital the day of surgery. They had just brought her into her room and she was too groggy to talk. I called back the next day though and then posted it here. I'm hoping she is home by now

That's right I remember now. Just didn't have it marked down.....that's so nice of you to check on her! Sometimes I get cut off when I'm going through the new posts & just plain forget to check out this thread. I hope she heals well & her family doesn't cause her any grief. I know women that refused to take it easy after that surgery & other's that were in bed for 6 weeks!
our girl is at home and will take care of herself. I know she will! She'll be a bit longer before she's up to being online for any length of time tho'. But that's okay, just as long as she returns when she's up it it.
NONE of this

As far as not smoking well I am trying again slow but sure though as there is alot of stress around here smoking is allowed in the bathroom now due to the weather could kill the hubby as much as the smoking so hard choice but hoping he will quit

Oh gosh Krissi, I had no idea about DH's heart attack! I do so hope your migraines improve. Get lots of (boring) rest & come back whenever you feel up to it.*hug
Krissi I am sorry I missed your phone call! I went with hubby to pick up grandchild after school. That is the only way of my getting out of house, to tag along with hubby as he does errands and things. Now that it's so cold, I tend to stay inside way too much as it is.
I hope you continue to take it easy and not overdo it.
How is your husband doing? Is he having to go back to doctor often as well? We have a friend that has to have stents put in often. Then hubby has a sister that does very well with the ones that she had put in.
I'm hoping your husband's lasts a long time. Our friend is our age, in the 60's so hopefully that's why his has to be replaced so often. And friend also has bad cholesterol. That might have something to do with it.
I just hope both you and husband get up and going real soo as I know it's the pits being down. I hated every minute I had to stay down when my foot was healing. Not enough good things on TV to make me like being down 24/7!
Take care and keep us informed as you can.
doing okay still Krissi. Have you been back to doctor yet? I have been down a bit, we were rear ended on Monday. Nothing serious but I was down for a few days since back was hurting even before that.
Just thinking of you. Take care and don't overdo!

I just found this thread, I am glad to hear that Krissi is home from the hospital and that hubby is doing ok.
Krissi,
Please take it easy both you and your hubby! Rest helps a person to heal! I hope both of your post-op recoveries are going well, with no comlications!
Big Hugs, Javi
a lot so haven't kept this up very well.
I heard from Krissi at least twice now and know her doctor's visit has been canceled once due to the doctor having to deliver a baby.
I know Krissi is still having a lot of pain but trying to stay down like she is suppose too (good girl, keep that up) and whenever she does get to go to doctor, I know she'll update us again.
I'm always glad to hear from her and hopes she continues to mind doctor's orders.
{{{{HUGS}}}} waiting for her when she returns!!

Hi all wow I have missed all and my comp so much I am not 100% and still in alot of pain but so bored I thought I would try the comp and see if I can drop by the pain is still in my stomach I should be healed so were hoping no infection lots of stress going on as my husband has pretty much given up on himself since the heart attack he is falling into depression keeps telling me you have to die sometime its just heart breaking and I can't make him take his meds all I can do is fill them
I know taking care of us is on his mind with his short term disabiltiy there taking 100 out for insurance and taxes which leaves us with nothing really like 100 a week so he is worried about the loosing the house as thats our morgatge food etc.... in these times were going to loose our phone and the net soon as I just can't afford it just so all are prepared if they don't see me after feb 2nd which is my 2 month of healing and his also we just can't keep up and this is tearing him apart as we were all caught up before his attack so I am dealing with alot I love the man so much yet can't anymore I can't make this alright so its tough
I have been resting as I have been suppose to wishing I could go out and work and doing the best I can by asking for donations on my web pages its all I can do I can't even do crafts as I can't sit long enough to help with that side with little things I can make so many ideas going in my head but of course when you can't do something the creativity comes there goes my crafters block
well I see my mental abuse post has hit 5000 wow again I only expected once again to touch one life but now 5000 is amazing to see people are reading and are interested I never thought that any of these posts would even be touched
So there is a short update on me I will do my best to post when I can and I SHOUT OUT THANKS TO JOY FOR UPDATING FOR ME as I have not been able to post

Krissi,
You are really going through a rough time right now! I wish I could be there with you just to talk, hold your hand or even make you and your hubby chicken noodle soup!
It is not unusual to become depressed after a heart attack. I will pray for the both of you. Continue to take it easy and follow Dr.'s orders! If you do lose your internet service. I will continue to pray for you!
My dear Friend, hugs, Laurie

Oh yes if I do loose internet service I will go to the libraray and check in as much as I possibly can please continue to pray I have so much on my plate right now I don't know which way is up Hugs Krissi
Krissi I still remember what my sister-in law had to say about her surgery. She said when the sweats started in that on her next appointment with the doctor she told him, well if it's going to be this way from now on, put it all back in! She said this vemehently or however it's spelled so I know it was bad for her as well.
I don't know anything to tell you to do. My mother was older when she had her surgery done. All I remember from that was that YES, she was still suppose to go for check-ups, even after they removed parts. She still needed that check-up and so will you.
I hope you are still not over doing things. And are going slowly at getting things done. I will be glad when you can return full time but it may still be too soon. Just take it easy, all in good time.
take care of yourself Krissi.

Krissi,
I haven't been on the boards for awhile, just logged on today and read about your surgery and husband heart attack.
I'm sorry your in pain, not feeling well and your husband not feeling well. I will keep you in my prayers. Hugs :)
I have been rally busy preparing for two meeting at my house so have dropped off writting to her as often as I did myself. Though I still am worried about her and husband. I am hoping that we can get back to working on my house after Tuesday meeting. It is torn apart in the kitchen and I find that I do need to find things a bit more than I though I did at that. And having things in garage in boxes and shelves is getting a bit distracting to finding things and getting them done.
