SSDI Benefits Process Revamped...

I had no knowledge of the proposed changes. I read the post above about the phishing scams, and saw links about the changes when at the site.. I am somewhat optimistic about the changes.. They began rolling out August 1.

I am interested to hear what the community thinks of them.

It has to get better.. I doubt it could get any worse..

Not sure if the changes effected my husband SSD decision, however I find that we have been extremely fortunate. He received an approval 4 1/2 months after applying. He applied August 1 and received his paperwork this past Friday.

Not sure how I feel about the decision being made that quickly, on one hand just glad he does not have to fight for it any more and then on the other hand it just put in front of me how sick he really is for them to decide so quicky, he had a brain injury.

Amazing, this gives me hope that mine will happen sooner too.
