I am still doing well! I have to say though, sometimes I do enjoy the smell of second hand smoke. I was talking to my ex while he was smoking, while I didn't WANT a cigarette, I did like the living vicariously. I really wish he would quit! He has major medical issues.

I do understand that "second hand smoke" thing. When I first quit, I thoroughly enjoyed being with my friends who were still smoking. And although it was only slightly less harmful than smoking myself, I allowed myself to have that 'vicarious' pleasure for awhile too. lol ;) But then things changed for me. I wasn't going to those places much so I got used to NOT breathing in any cigarette smoke and it finally became very difficult for me to be around people who were smoking. :) But I didn't consider that to be a bad thing.

I am baking pumpkin pies to take to my son and daughter-in-laws tomorrow. It's actually been a few years since I made pies for Thanksgiving and this has been fun. Made me all nostalgic thinking back to the days when my family was all alive and we all made something to bring for the Thanksgiving dinner as we assembled at my parents' home (where my son and his family are now living). :rolleyes: Anyway, I told them I'd bring an apple pie too but I cheated and bought it already baked at a bakery. With the price of apples around here, I absolutely could not have made it myself for less than the price I paid for the baked pie. lol

Monday is the final real estate "inspection" of my new little condo and Tuesday it is mine - ALL MINE.

Jingle, How very exciting for you! Happiness is being a home owner, and you are buying at a good time! When the markets come back up, your little condo will have more equity than you have paid for it. Geez, I hope that made sense?

Teddiebears, I will be making pies this afternoon, we have Thanksgiving on Saturdays, due to the kids having to get to multiple inlaws. My Daughter and sil have 4 places, my sons have 3 so it just made sense to move our day. Then we can have a full afternoon/evening with the entire family. At last count I believe it was 18-20 of us, depending if my ex and his wife show up. We all get along well and have gatherings like this several times a year.
