I've missed reading what folks are up to and being able to send well wishes to those struggling through various ups and downs with diagnosis, surgery and complications.

A brief recap for those old and new: I'll be 30 (gasp) in a couple months but was 27 when found I had an unruptured aneurysm (had headaches and such) and it was a "incidental finding" on an MRI. 2 weeks later I had it clipped at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston and now 2year 4mos later I'm finally feeling myself again. My head on the side where surgery was is a still a bit wonky--more sensitive then the rest and I do believe I can predict the weather :p

At any rate life is going along..I'm in grad school and about to celebrate my first wedding anniversary--it feels a long way away from the scared and anxious person I was while awaiting surgery...at the same time I get these moments from time to time where I get scared and wonder how long the clip will last, is it safe to go through labor etc.

Congradulations on school. I have trouble concentrating so school would take a long time to get through. My annie (I've never heard it called that before. So it seems strange for me to use it.) was clipped almost 5 years ago on Thanksgiving day. My son was 2 years old at the time. I keep thinking I could have had it when I was in labor. I have no idea how they develope and what makes them get bigger. Hope my clip lasts too. Have you heard of any that didn't? When I asked my doctor he just ignored it like it wouldn't be good if it did. Who knows??

Congrats on the Anniversary!!!! :D My husband and I have known each other since 81, we will be married 20 years in April. I hope you will be as happy as we are! We are still best friends!! Soul mates!! :p Take care of yourself & hubby! I am so glad you have achieved so much!! I am still recovering! I will get there! Here is a poem for your Anniversary! Love Tricia

“Together Forever”

On this day, two will become one
Joining your souls, "together forever"
In this web of love you have spun
Know you will be there for each other

Share and learn the power of love
During everything, "together forever"
There when push comes to shove
Do not be fearful to share whatever

Best friends have no secrets, or regrets
Happily ever after, "together forever"
Everybody says things when we’re upset
Do not let words encumber you, ever
Life is too short and true love is the best
Capable of being a grand adventure
Put yourself through an exciting new test
Can be very passionate and clever
Never measure yourself, against the rest

From this day on, you’re now one
Learn to accept, "together forever"
Incredible what you may become
When apart, desire to be together

Be dedicated & discover it all
Make it continue "together forever"
Hold on tight when you do fall
This day is you’re finest endeavor!

Hi Mayansun,

It's Gafey (aka Maria). Congratulations on your anniversary and good luck to your studies! I have 3 kids myself ages 12, 10 and 8. I had a ruptured anneurism in Jan 06 and lucky for me my oldest son was around to call 911.

Luckily I have little deficits - short term memory problems, depression, fatique, depression, depression, and did I mention - depression. But I hear these are all normal.

I've missed chatting with everyone, this site was a huge help to me when I got home from the hospital.

I have two more annies being monitored and I also have stenosis and high blood pressure - not a good combination.

Glad to be back in circulation!
