Any recommendations for voice recognition software?

Another fan of Dragon NaturallySpeaking here. Been using it for almost 2 years, and it's been a godsend.

I'd recommend getting a good headset to go with it, as the supplied headset leaves a lot to be desired. Your accuracy will go way up with an upgraded headset. Check out knowbrainer.com for info on recommended headsets...

It is MUCH cheaper to buy on internet than in a store. Try ebay - I got mine through an ebay store.

Your tremor may be getting worse but you sold many pints of fingerling potatoes last saturday and not a single potato ended up on the ground! Seriously, SSusan and I made it through the entire farming season--all the markets! What a team.

even more seriously, two of my friends who live right near you have been using such software. Lynn is a wonderful source of information and could add her voice to the great info you got here.

Hi Susan I too have a tremor but Ive been able to get away w/ it so far.
I dont know how well it works as I use it with out a microphone via key board but the free downloadable opera browser has a voice program I like.

Its easy to download and is free the voice program just need activated after download by clicking microphone on browser.
