I recently found out about the Advanced Neuromodulation Systems
(ANS a division of St. Jude Medical ) clinical trial to test their Libra®
DBS system. So, I surfed around hoping to put an eye-ball on this Libra
device, mainly to get an idea of it's "size". Strangely enough I'm NOT
finding any pictures or any sites that describe the dimensions of the
Libra.
I did, however, find plenty of info about the Eon Mini here -
http://www.ans-medical.com/
"Eon Mini rechargeable IPG has been approved for use by the FDA. It is
the smallest IPG on the market and has the longest approved life in
class.1-6 Like the Eon system, it employs Neurodynamix™ technology
to optimize battery consumption and maximize time between recharges;
it also offers the same extensive array of lead configuration and
programming options."
...and here - http://www.eonmini.com/
Does anyone here know the dimensions of the Libra® DBS system?
Thanks.
