...that people are airing their concerns and complaints about JL and the mods without being silenced?

It seems to me that some of what many are asking for is already happening, and that should be acknowledged.

For myself, I too would like to see the mods' identities made public (although I do understand the reasoning behind keeping them private). But as far as the money issue is concerned, I donated too, and have no problem with where the surplus may have been put to use. That's just me, though.

John, if you're reading this, thanks very much for all your effort!

Glenntaj, Let's try to be more positive, JL said he welcomed suggestions here, but your negative comments are not productive.

Thanks,

Sally

--I thought that comment was neutral, at worst.

Given what has been expressed, both here and at other sites--expressions that involved arguments that are far from unreasonable--I think we are right to be cautious.

Hi,

I thought I was in the other thread and was directing my first sentence to nit pickers....sorry

I don't want to be scolded by anyone but John if he sees fit. We can't all be as perfect as some of you claim to be but I hope non-judgemental is not included in your list of virtues.:)

John...hi..from Paula...aka lil,

One of the hardest parts of this ordeal was not hearing from you. It seemed like you had too much on your plate and that you had lost interest in braintalk. I say it seems, because we could only speculate - we had nothing to go on. Rumors start that way of course. There were rumors that you were in Braintalk2 under an assumed name along with other moderators. Speculation everywhere and nitpicking like some are trying to do here.

Like it or not, you have created something completely unique, and without intending to, it has become as important as at the very least counseling for many people for so many different reasons.

Lack of communication is destructive.

Other than that, I am also requesting a change in moderation procedures.

Welcome back, we didn't know whether to miss you or be pissed at you lol.....but I never doubted that there would be forgiveness.

Paula
