Does anyone use generic duragesic patch's

My pharmacy says there are two generic forms of the Duragesic patch. She said they are a good bit lower than the original patch plus she said alot of folks like one of the generics more than the original because it sticks better. Please let me know what you guys like. Brian

I have used two brands.. Sandoz and the other company I do not remember the name.. The Sandoz are exactly like the name brand. The other is small and has no border as does the Duragesic.. I have been on Generics ever since they came out.. And have had no problems or other noticable effects with them..

The pharmacy shows what they bill my insurance company on my receipts. The Duragesic was a little over 1000.00 a month. The generics are about 675 a month...

specifically but my doctor told me that all generic brands can have a 30% difference in strength one way or the other.:eek: In most cases I've found that generics work fine, but there have been a few pain medications that I can notice a big difference in. I've been a chronic pain patient since 2000 and it wasn't until this year that I had ever had a doctor admit to me how much difference there can be in medications. Hope this helps you.
