Another site I post at which also uses vBulletin had their database get corrupted while moving to a new server and updated vBulletin. It has caused one fatal database error after another. Every week or two we lose the entire previous few weeks' posts as they reset it yet again. They have five full time tech support people who have been working on the issue constantly for several days and it crashed again last night for the second time in 48 hours.
While it is easy to be impatient for access to all the great info contained in the data base for this site, I will gladly be patient if it means keeping this database free from corruption--especially since John is not five full time tech support people!
Hope the info is able to be translated to a format which is accessible, though considering the huge amount of info I understand that must be a time consuming process.
