Hello, everyone!

I am new to this forum. I am not really sure what section this should go in so I am going to post it here in this chat room. Moderators/Administrators, please move it to it's proper location. Thank you.

I was searching on Google for brain forums. Just a generic search. What part of the brain that controls the eyes? As I understand the brain pretty much controls almost everything if not everything on how we function, am I right or wrong?

Why do I want to know the part that controls the eyes? Well, I am 26 now. When I was a little boy, I was pretty much out of control and I fell on my head and my eyes and I refused to strength up the muscles and such in my eyes. I did go for eye surgery last year on muscles. It did correct the eyes muscles but in most part my muscle movements still rolls up on me. A different eyes doctor said it can be the part that controls the eyes are dead in my brain. He was not a brain surgeon. He did tell me normally that part of the brain cannot be restored over the years. Is that true or not true? I believe it's not true. I believe there might be chances that it can be restored. I am no doctor. I don't work. I am only saying what I believe. What I believe could be wrong. If it can be restored, what is the process? Well, thank you for any replies.

php, Why don't you ask again in the epilepsy forum. There's ALOT of brain talk in there (epilepsy is not what you probably think, because thats what TV shows & movies show us). I have epilepsy. The people on that forum are knowlegable about the brain & they are very nice too. Muscles can change but brain cells don't 'regrow'. I think you are talking about muscles???
