What are your experiences using B vitamins? I normally post in the Vitamin and Mineral Deficiency ' and 'Epilepsy' forums. I have a rare type of epilepsy. In nearly 38 years of having seizures - I have never used any Antiepileptic Drugs to control my many different types of seizures, only B vitamins (mainly B6).

I would love to know what your experiences are with B vitamins and ADD/ADHD?

I know my child was MISdiagnosed with ADD and put on medication for it with devastating results. We later found she was partially helped (by then she had a LOT of problems -- way beyond "ADD/ADHD" -- with a multi-vitamin formula (E. M. Power - see http://www.TrueHope.com ). It was some more years later than an endocrinologist ran more tests and found she had, in addition to other physical problems, BOTH an intestinal malabsorption problem AND a metabolic problem utilizing some B vitamins (http://itsnotmental.blogspot.com/2008/06/nutrition-genes-and-brain-dysfunctions.html )
She is doing fine today... no sign of her "ADD" but she is on a lot more things than just the B vitamins.

My ADHD isn't related to any nutritional deficiencies, so no effect.
