Wow -- It's hard to believe September is almost over. Where does the time go???

The Clint Black concert was WONDERFUL. I was sitting 7 rows back from the stage right in the middle so I had a good view of everything on stage. It was almost 2 hours of non-stop music. That's the kind of concert I like to attend. Makes me feel like I really got my money's worth! ;)

I did some shopping there before I cam home. I bought a pair of moccasins to replace the pair I have that is falling apart. lol Overall, it was a nice time. :)

How's everyone doing here?? Kathy, are you doing okay? You've passed the 5 week mark as an ex-smoker - which is a great accomplishment - and I hope you're finding it less stressful as each day goes by. :)

We've been having summer-like weather the past week or so. It's nice to see the sun but I could do without the 80's temps. But they are forecasting a drop into the 70's starting tomorrow and I think Monday they are predicting a high of 68 degrees.

Have a peaceful evening!! :)

teddiebears,

It sounds like you had wonderful seats! Country isn't my thing, but I do like a lot of his stuff! Shopping, UGH, I need to buy some new jeans and shoes for winter, along with a few other items. When I was young, I had a pair of moccasains, my GGransmother had made for me. She was Choctaw and cherokee(full blooded) That is another big story! I hope you had a great week!

I am hanging in. I had a tough time this passed week, I think because I hit the month mark and the anniversary(12yrs) of my car accident, and total disability:(. I thought I had passed it by w/o any notice and bam, it slapped me right in the face. But, still not smoking! Eating yes, smoking no!lol

Strange thing happened at my last Pain Mgt appt, he ordered a pulse ox overnight test, so I did it early last week. So I get a call saying they were bringing out a nighttime oxygen unit:eek: apparently my pulse ox was not good. Good thing I quit smoking or I would have blown myself off the map. Si I am using oxygen at night to boost my oxygen levels at night due to the type of meds I am on. A bunch that depress the respritory system. It really bugged me at nifge because of the canulas and the hissing of the machine. But so far I am doing well.

Whew, did I just blabbbbbb.

Oh, I forgot I got to spend the am with my 3mo old Granddaughter! I have pics posted on the Emotional Support Forum, Under "Alexa's Pic's. If you feel like it check her out, please no obligation.

Thanks for hanging in there with me!

I'm stil folowing everyone and keeping up with them. I also am still watching my weight Nana. So far, so good, LOL.

Off topic but good luck with that noisy machine. After a few years and a few pounds, I got to get off my machine. My new sleep doctor determined that my troubles was just insomnia after all. DUH, you think. I can go all night sometimes without sleeping. It's good that I can rest just about any time I need too, I suppose.

In fact this would be a great time for me to get to bed and try to unlax there. Just good luck to everyone here that is trying to quit smoking. And good luck with getting to sleep as well.

Joy it isn't a CPAP machine, just canulas Thank God! I meant to ask you on the other thread if you have tried muscle relaxants. Probably a dumb question, but thought I would ask. Congrats on the weight!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, doing what you like best!:)
