Has anyone else found scar massage by a physical therapist helpful in relieving pain from adhesions and general "tightness" of the scalp months after a craniotomy? I've had three sessions in the past two weeks and am feeling much less pain along the incision site. The pain had started increasing about seven months after my craniotomy to clamp an aneurysm behind my right eye and even prescribed pain killers weren't much help. I'm hopeful that I'll continue to see (feel) progress.
