I wanted to share some good news: Taylor's high school called today to ask what size letter jacket Taylor needed for the upcoming academic achievement awards! In our district this means she maintained an overall "A" average and didn't score below an 80 on any assignment or test. Like most of you reading this, this was accomplished despite having horrid headaches and retching, being completely flat alot of the time, having burning feet and intermittent CSF leaks, taking loads of pain meds, Benadryl and a host of anti-nausea meds. If you can't tell, I am very proud of my baby bear! She is such a trooper and blessing in my life!

Wow:
Way to go Tay! Like others on this board...I think I've had a good day when I can manage a shower and do my hair...cannot imagine going to school and achieving what Tay has achieved!!!!! Amazing....and like they said...these things are not accomplished without a lot of help from the family. You are ALL to be congratulated on this amazing achievement!

Thanks for sharing this...it helps to know wht can be done in spite of horrendous pain!
