sinemet and flu shots ?

My son is 18 and going to college he is on sinemet, he for some reason thinks he was told not to get a flu shot while on sinemet, my son's memory is not very good so he is not sure.
Do any of you take flu shots or are there problems while on sinemet?
thanks for any help my son has only been on sinemet for about 3 months.

Well, I hope there is not a problem, since I just got a flu shot. I take Stalevo, which has the same basic ingredients of Sinemet. Didn't occur to me that there could be a problem...

Tiger's GP and neuro both required his getting a flu shot so they don't feel that there would be a problem with his Sinemet and other meds.

BTW - he did feel a bit under the weather for a day or two, no additional MS or PD symptoms.

As I said my son has memory problems so maybe he mixed this up. I looked it up on the net and no warning or really much of anything was listed about sinemet and flu shots I will call the pharmacy see what they say but I am glad it looks like it's all OK, thanks for letting me know:)
