Pati, you're right...
 disposable anything... foam cups, plastic utensils, straws, shower curtains, diapers and feminine hygiene pads...
 bleached napkins, paper towels, clothings, water... there's an article about drinking water in the usa on another thread somewhere... full of the pharm. drugs people throw in their toilets... interested people can do a little search...
 and all that plastic is made with petroleum... no wonder why our insides are burning... as well as our own very private entrances and exits...
2098  2100

Lavan, our local paper has been running huge articles about the water in the US. Here in WA state we have tested negative for pharm. stuff. Do I believe this? Yeah like I trust the gov. on anything else! NO
In my county we are still fighting over having flouride added to our drinking water. Was put before the voters & passed with a slight margin, fools that trusted the American Dental Assoc. were for this. It's such BS it's pathetic to think how stupid people can be! You need an RX to even get the stuff.....and not good for thyroid, babies, etc. yet they are screaming to have it added to our water which is one of the purest in this country!
It's all about the mighty buck. It costs alot for the dentists to get rid of the stuff.
As a sidenote, last time I walked on a beach in the beautiful San Juan Islands I was appalled by the plastic garbage from the boats, ferries, etc. I will never again go beach combing as I've done for many years. Who wants to risk getting stuck by a needle while picking up a pretty rock or shell?
To top that off it's illegal to remove a piece of driftwood or anything nature provided & take it home to enjoy!

 it's illegal for a simple individual to remove one small particule from the Nature and take it home to admire a sample of Nature in his living room...
 but it's perfectly legal for govt, and big pharms, and industries to dump megatons of chemicals into the Nature and destroy most of the planet... and kill or injure many living beings...
