Hi All

I just wanted to say hi and give you a little update on Raffi. First let me say thanks for all your support you gave me when I was thinking he had a leak. I made it through with your help. The liquid was csf but in a different form. It was excess filtering through his tissue. Still happening even though he did have a shunt revision in July. I found out that his brain is very complicated. I guess I should be happy his brain has the coping mechanisms to prevent great injury. Nothing is perfect but I have to admit he is better than before.
The journey continues...Thanks to God..because it would be a lonely trek without him!!

Hope you are all supporting each other and the wisdom that comes form these keyboards help each and every one of you.

Marilou! It's great to hear from you and even better to know that Raffi is doing better.

Good for you for following your instincts and knowing your son and that something wasn't right even though his NS was trying to convince you that he was fine! And good for you both that you kept on fighting for him!
