Well, I don't want to jinx it or anything, but I might be getting my cannabis prescription this Friday! I have an appointment with a local clinic that specializes in medical cannabis. I have my medical records showing the epilepsy and the osteoarthritis, so as long as I can still afford the $150 for the office visit come Friday I should have no problems. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

Thanks Chris. ((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) I love hearing from you and knowing you're still around. I miss you and bats and others when you don't post.

I got my golden ticket! Yes, I'm singing the song from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" because I actually got it! Not a prize that gets me a tour of a chocolate factory, but a magic certificate that let's me shop at my local "green" grocer. :) Yes, that means I got my medical cannabis prescription. It went off without a hitch. They were very grateful that I brought in medical records to back up my statements about how much I need it. I guess most folks they see make stuff up and have no records to prove it so the doctor has to do their own determination as to whether the person really needs it or not. In my case it was abundantly clear that I have a legitimate need for it.

Now I'm just working out the finances so that I can regularly have my medicine and perhaps will be able to pay attention in class now! I know that may seem odd that cannabis will help me focus in class, but I actually learn better with it. Perhaps that's because I don't feel the excruciating pain in my spine and I don't have seizure auras to distract me when I use cannabis.

Much love to all of you and extra hugs for Chris. :)

*hug

Wow Daniel that is great that it went so smoothly for you. I really hope that it helps with your schooling. Keep those seizures and pain at bay and gives you a chance to move forward with your life.

Thanks for the extra hugs, one can never have too many of those.
