Here and accounted for! lol:D I think I am 11 days? as a non-smoker! It has been a tough week, the cravings have been tougher, not sure why:confused: I am glad I made it though, it was nice to hear my Aunt tell me I smelled nice, instead of coughing.:)

"You smell nice" is a great incentive through the tough times, huh?

Good for you for hanging tough. It does get better....although it is not a straight line of smooth and easy sailing.

You sound like you really are ready, and are doing great, and even have validating tidbits (being told you smell nice) along the way...

Can't wait to hear your family holiday gathering stories when you have everyone over!!!

Boy from a grandmother who has a kid with allergies well on her way to asthma, I can say,--GOOD GOING Kathy.

Your family will feel the same way, only moreso.

When I stopped being around people a lot and stopped smoking in my own home from hubby's relatives, I got better.

I don't even use the nasal spray for allergies, I should probably and the best part is I don't use the 3 inhalers for astha any more!!

I never go to see people that won't curtail their smoking any more either. I figure my health is more important than my seeing them. ;). I figure if they can't see that it is just NOT a smell issue, they will never understand. At least until a doctor explains why some later date for them. I hope not but it happens that way far to often unfortunately.

I am proud of you.

And YES, I am doing just great with my diet and hubby is trying harder now too.

:) Correct statement there .... "it is not a straight line of smooth and easy sailing" but you sure can sail until you reach you goal. This is one of the most important goals in your life. Keep sailing.
