I can't use manage attachments anymore

Hi,
What am I doing different on this new forum? I was always able to do it on the old one. I get it to upload the gif or jpeg, but when I submit it, the only thing I get is the words of my attachment, not the picture.
This is from my own pictures in my computer.

Please any help will be appreciated.

If you are not logged in you will only see the name of attachments in any posts. If you are logged in let us know and we'll go scratch or heads some more.

I have never been able to confirm this, but I think the size of the attachment determines if the link is shown, or if the photo itself is shown.

I'll do some testing over the weekend to see if my theory is correct.

Hi,
I have been posting pictures for 5 years or more on all the BT forums. I do most of the birthday posts with others and put up the same old pictures of cakes and flowers that I have always used.

I am logged in, and I can post, but after uploaded the picture from my documents on the browse button, it only does the words of the picture in the post, no real picture shows. Grrrr
I know how many KB's it allows here. Still need help!!!!!

This is just an idea... could you do a post in this thread with a photo attachment so that we may see what you're describing?

I've not tried photo attachments in the forums here since everything came back online, yet... I'm wondering if there is a possibility that something may need a tweak on the admin. side. My thought is: Possibly image files have to be clicked on for them to appear, rather than images appearing as embedded (which is how it used to be). I dunno. That's why I'm asking if you wouldn't mind posting a message with an attachment here.

You"re correct Mike :cool:

You do have to resize the image to these BrainTalk specs for posting Attach Files.

When logged in, clic on Manage Attachments button for all attached file specs.
