Hi Klasyjo -

I would add a test for H. pylori and an immunoglobulin panel (IgA, IgG, IgM) , to "get a baseline" as they say when talking women into mammograms...

If you have any damage from gliadin, you will be more vulnerable to bacterium like H. pylori. And the immunoglobulin panel will let you know how your immune system is handling it all.

Thanks I added those to my list. I went through my labs that I've had done in the past but it appears I'm missing some. Maybe my dr's will give me copies when I'm there.

Sounds very thorough. Don't forget the pap smear.

Let us know how the tests turn out. Hope the numbers are good.

Wow , Becky!!! Good for you - I'll be real curious about your results. Hope your doctor can interpret them for you. Our experience with most pediatricians was, "I don't know what this MEANS!!" (direct quote) Great job - I'll have to copy your list for future doktor visits...

As long as I have the results I can find what it means. I work with two GI's. One locally (just recently switched GI's so I'll be meeting this one for the first time on the 20th but it's a family practice father and son both GI's) that does all my routine labs & check ups and the other at University of Chicago Celiac Center that does all the interpretations and requests further evaluation.

From the looks of my wonderful list - I best be taking an orange with me because I just know the hospital will try to offer me crackers!
