Genetic predisposition

Hiya. I am under the impression that there could be a genetic predisposition to APS. In this respect has anyone else gone to the trouble of having their family members checked ? Interestingly my 34 years old son in Switzerland was told by his Doctor two years ago his blood was thick.....could be APS connected . It hasnt been followed up as his Doctor knows little about APS and wanted me to send some information. I am still waiting for his address from my son...lol
