I've looked at all the old threads on this but I can't straighten it out. Below is what I've tried:

1) Logging out and then back in.

2) Went through edit options and reset email notification. All looks OK.

3) Manually tried to subscribe to a thread using thread tools. Can't do it.

4) went to view all subscribed threads (73) and checked all the boxes.

WHAT step have I missed? Help me please.

Between the moderators, Mike, & myself, we have gone through a multitude of tests of the email system as well, and we have determined that the bulk email system is having some problems at the server level that needs attention from our Systems Administrator John Lester.

These email problems are effecting all thread subscriptions, email confirmations for new members, and even the reported post alerts to the moderators.

Single emails sent through the system to other members, moderators, & administrators do not seem to be effected by this problem so far.

This is not a problem that is due to any misconfiguration of your computers or software. This must be fixed by the Systems Administrator. I have notified him of this by email. Hopefully John Lester will attend to this soon.

I have received notification from our SYSOP John Lester, and I myself have tested the system since, so it is confirmed that the email system has been fixed. :)

This email breakdown had effected all outgoing emails sent through the BrainTalk server. From what John Lester reported, the problem was complicated, and took much troubleshooting to get final solution.

Emails for Private Message alerts, Thread Subscriptions, and all other manual & automated email notification systems should now be sent out as before.
