Email Confirmation

Hi all, I signed up over the weekend, and after registering I got a message stating an email will be sent to confirm the registration, and I needed to activate through that.
I haven't recieved and email as of yet, and very little understandably works for me. :(
Can someone help?

Our out going email system is being uncooperative so all new registrations are confirmed manually by admin.
