you were taken so quickly, no one had a chance to say good-bye. It grieves those closest to you that you were alone. Everyone who was closest to you is taking this hard.
I am an outsider, really, but we, too, had a common bond in being Grandmas to a very special little boy. You always brought a smile to Li'l Vin's face. He loved you a lot. The things you did for him and with him will never be forgotten and I am sure his Mommy and Daddy will keep your memory alive for him to cherish. Vinnie is having a hard time with your passing. AFter all, when his dad left, it was just you and him against the world. Despite your seemingly rocky relationship, he REALLY did love you a LOT. It is hard for Bethany. You and she had a very complicated relationship, but she loved you, too. You tried to be a good grandma to Li'l Vin and she appreciated that. She knew that you were trying to do your best. I smiled when she told me that you always wanted to do laundry for them. She said you did good laundry. Thank you for that.
I'm sorry that I never got to know you well, but life is full of complications like that, and knowing that you wre the Mother of our grandson's daddy is enough. You raised him to be a good daddy.
