Good afternoon Bill (5:30pm here),

apparently (from what i read and from what i was told by the pshychologist-hypnotherapist i learned to do self-hypnosis with) that the brain will not make any difference in its way of reacting and providing your body with chemical response, endorphins, adrenaline, etc... between your real physical experience of a hot bubble bath (or an aggression, or a walk in a wonderful garden) and a visualisation or a dream/nightmare/flashback or an hallucination of the same experience... the brain is amazing and still a big mystery to worldwide brain specialists...

i'm seriously interested in any research on the way brain functions... as i don't take any pharm. medication at all... if you find anything interesting, please, feel free to post a link for me, as others may be also interested...

last week, i read something else on another thread, on the TN forum, regarding scientific research on barometric pressure affecting/triggering pain... just in case you're interested: http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34685

and we've all noticed that... (the full and the new) moon is affecting many: http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=32856

have a wonderful day/night!

[e]a mental plan
[f] a thought

Hi Bill,
imho...
for the intellect, some differences... i will let other people answer that one...
for the brain, and its way of responding to our body... no difference at all...
