It was yesterday. Thanks for those of you who sent well wishes and remembered I was having it. Words of encoragement go a long way when your headed into something that went so bad the week before.

Yesterday was not a problem. They gave me alot more sedation and changed the location of the injections. My doctor said this should keep me from having all the irritation, spasms and extra pain and side effects like trouble walking. He was right, unfortunately he blocked the wrong side of my leg and my knee.

Inside of my right thigh and my knee are both numb. Bad news is that I fell today. It was my fault I didn't take my walker on the way to the bathroom. I woke up and needed to go very badly and in my hurry combined with the numb knee lost my balance. I realized what was happening so it was not a full blown sprawl....more of a very ungraceful kur-plunk!!

End result....new aches & pains in my back, righ hip and right thigh. Thankfully my sister was here fixing us lunch so she helped me up.

Disappointing couple of days but I know they could have been worse.

Hope all that read this are feeling better right now than you have all day! :) A.K.

AK sorry to hear about your fall. Do you mean that the doctor put the block on the wrong side so that it hasn't helped and your good leg is effected? It is a good thing your sister was there. I hope you get over all the pain and spasms soon and start feeling better soon.

The outside of my right thigh on my right leg is where my nerve damage is and he blocked the nerves on the inside of my thigh on my right leg and my knee. Making my right leg pretty usless for the time being.

I was SO thankful she had decided to stay with me today. I normally am home alone on weekdays but she had travelled almost two hours from home to drive me to the hospital yesterday so decided to stay longer with me. I am blessed!!
