We wrote this review for our TBI and SCI blog (http://www.brainandspinalcord.org/blog) and I thought it might be helpful here:

The Disability Help Site (http://disabilityhelpsite.com/) is our recommended resource for this week. This Website includes a wide variety of useful information for those with a disability. Some of the topics are:

Federal and State disability benefits, with information on benefits and review procedures.

Financial Aid, with an emphasis on grants, job placement, disability tax and education financing.

Housing Issues, including modifications and funding for home assistance devices.

Impairment Sites, for dealing with pain and a variety of disabilities.

Prescriptions Meds, with information about free and discounted prescriptions options.

Your Rights, which includes resources such as the disability act.

This site also includes a forum for additional questions and answers along with opportunities to connect with others who are navigating issues that are related to a disability.

Perhaps knowing who/what is the We/Our you mention would also be VERY helpful here....

Sorry I'm not trying to be creepy, I've been busy and haven't been checking in on my previous posts.
I am part of a group of a couple other people working to build brainandspinalcord.org. The purpose of the website is to be a complete resource for TBI/SCI survivors and their families. I read articles, research reports, forums, blogs, etc. to gather information for the website and blog. Another person takes the information and writes website pages and blog posts, (hence the "we") and another person works on videos. It is a very new site and still very much under construction. We hope someday the site can be a helpful, complete resource, and we're working toward that now.
In the meantime, my purpose here at this forum (and others I participate in) is to enter the conversation about brain and spinal cord injury, what resources are needed, and what we can do to become a more helpful site. If we blog about something I think would be helpful I like to share it, because that's the point of the website!
Thanks for visiting and for your feedback, I'm sorry I wasn't able to get this information to you more quickly.

I appreciate the response.

Your growing site does show promise for being a source of good leads for someone wanting/needing to research. I don't have any specific personal need for the topic; yet found articles I read because they seemed a good overview of the topic....

I couldn't tell if info was being generated or lifted. The links do seem to be not just click-through, so that was encouraging....

I would suggest even a short blurb on your site, an "About Us" kind of thing, be on the list of assignments of one of your writers. It helps build crediblity when people can find who/what/why more easily..... just a suggestion. That is the part I found creepy... not having that addressed, even in part.

I'll keep reading it from time to time, and give feedback, if you'd like....
