If anyone is taking this just be aware--thi was not told to me--until I suffered--and then I researched and then asked the Dr he then addmitted that they had been told about it.

I have been on once a week 70m.g. Fosamax since 05/2002 and that report/warning has been around since before then. If you get regular dental treatment, even just cleanings, your Dentist will tell you that they've known of this since the late 1980's. The lawyers are preying on our ignorance.

continues to be in trouble.

The link above is not slanted....it sadly reflects the truth.

People who were given it while on steroids to supposedly prevent bone loss are suffering multiple fractures, now.

This is because the way Fosamax works....somehow it makes the bones a bit stronger for a short time, but also more brittle. So if you break one or stress one, it may fracture and never heal. (the osteoblasts that make bone stop for some reason).
Here is another point of view:

Fosamax and the heart:

I think we will see a decline in this family of drugs soon, as more and more
information becomes available. (we often see REAL facts like this coming to light when a drug goes generic. This is because liability suits revert to the patent holder, and when the patent holder (Merck in this case) knows and has kept this information quiet, releases it when the generic comes out to minimize the liability suits.)
