I was looking through my e-mail and when I finished, I went back to
My MSN page. Just as it came up, I got a pop-up:

The dynamic link (long list of letters/numbers), could not be found on
this page.
************************************************** ***
I've never gotten this message before and I have no idea what a
"dynamic link" is.:o The page looked okay to me, nothing was
missing, so I don't know what "could not be found on this page".

I clicked it off instead of just clicking OK, because I wasn't sure
what would happen otherwise. Is there something else I should
have done?

Thanks!:)

Hello Gina

this page.

Could you post the long list of letters/numbers if you still have them. will do a search to see what the error could be. okay

I clicked it off again, but what the heck is it?

Thanks!:)

A DLL is a dynamic link library. Just like in a library Windows isn't using all the programs at once so it keeps them in a 'library' where they are call on as needed, therefore "dynamic". The particular one "gdiplus.dll" is used in handling JPG pictures. The original version out in Windows is vulnerable to being exploited by viruses imbeded in pictures. Doing updates from Microsoft will remedy that.

If you simply want to get this solved you can down load a safe version of gdiplus.dll at this site:

I agree with TC. Sounds like it's corrupt or the path to that file is corrupt.
