New Here Husband had brain injury

Hi. I am new here. My husband had brain injury, was in comma for 6 months. Had to learn to walk and talk again. He has leak. They repaired it with the blood patch thing. Well he got to active and the leak is back. It leaked for 2 days, and now it is gone. The doctor said it is ok, he just over worked himself. We are both waiting to find out if we can make love. It has been 3 years since the accident, thus 3 yrs since we made love. It is getting very hard to withhold. Nobody seems to know if having sex would cause troubles. I told the doctor I would do the work and slow. My husband is very active with chores and lawn, and have no troubles. But, they say making love causes differant body muscles to re-act than just normal physical muscles around doing lawn

I am truly sorry to hear of your hubby's injury. It has been almost three years since my husband's brain injury, he has a cyst in his brain and hydro formed when he had his accident. Making Love has been an issue for us on several occassions and to tell you the truth it used to scare the living h___l out of me I have know him to grab his head and go to his knees. The first time after his brain surgery his head hurt him so bad he didnt even want to think about it again for awhile. He described it like the country song "Afternoon Delight" he said his brain felt like sky rockets going off. I really dont have any advise here but had to give you a point of view of someone else that goes through this.

Does it still hurt his head..........yes sometimes it does....for him is it life threatening well i surely hope not...
