Try this, totally cool, but it works everytime!! My 9 year old daughter saw me and my husband doing this repeatedly, and she figured out mathematically how they do it, we were shocked!!!

Because our number system is based upon 9 digits (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) the answer (for some reason) is always divisible by 9.

So, do the program a 2nd time and you will get another number divisible by 9. The first time I got 18 and the second time 27. Look at the chart. Each number divisible by 9 has the same symbol.

So, since the number is always divisible by 9, and they have assigned the samse symbol to numbers divisible by 9, it gives you the right answer.
