Does anyone know of any neurologists or neurosurgeons at UMiami?
I went to a neurosurgeon (at the same hospital where I got the leak 15 months ago) but he told me the neuro who had sent me with a brain MRI had wasted both his time and mine--it was the wrong study.
The NS said that if my problem began from a csf leak after the epidural in labor then he needed a lumbar MRI and to go to UMiami because a university setting would be able to get the testing and imaging necessary but he wouldn't give me a name of who to see. He told me to go to the primary, but my primary won't refer you unless you givve him a name. Yes that is supposed to be the primary's job but my primary is an ***. I begged for a blood patch if he wouldn't go exploring to find the problem but he said he'd have to be crazy to get involved with a 15 month old leak unless it was imaged. Any suggestions? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
