WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY!!!!!! We are going on Kody's Make a Wish trip! Kody is pretty sick, really really bad cough and cold. Been sick for a month and on 2 different antibiotics but hoping that he starts feeling better while we are there. He has chronic problems with his ears. Has anyone heard of taking sudafed before you go on the plane to help his ears. Kody can not chew gum.

Randi, When I first started to fly back in the 1990's that's exactly what I took to keep my head open and everything clear. Poor little buddy, I Pray he starts to feel better for the trip. Hopefully when he sees "Mickey" that will get his mind off of the cold and have fun!!! Have a wonderful time and tell us all about it when you return!

Have fun on your trip! Hope he is feeling better soon, Paige has been sick as well! It sucks, especially when you got some where fun to go. Hopefully Mickey will brighten his day!!

Hope he feels well enough to enjoy that trip. We had a nasty cold/cough bug here too. If his is anything like ours was, he was probably pretty miserable in there. Sudafed sounds like a good idea--that or some other decongestant. We liked the Triaminic Day Time Cough and Cold, but it is a combo decongestant and cough med and you might not want both.

im so excited that it is kody's turn to meet mickey!!!!
i know you guys will have so much fun, maybe the warm florida air will do him good.

sudafed may be a good idea, does kody still use a pacifier? the pacifier worked extremely well for chelsea.

Just a quick thought in case you happen back through...Does Kodi take a sippy cup at all? I can't remember. If he does take a sippy cup, that might get him swallowing enough to equalize the pressure during take off and landing.

Thank you all for your well wishes!!! Kody doesn't take a pacifier so that won't work and he doesn't drink from a sippy cup either. He still takes a bottle (I know, we are trying to get him off of it but he only drinks pedisure and he doesn't drink very much so we have to get him to drink any way we can)....... I wonder if we let him drink his bottle on take off and landing if that would work?

I will post when we come back.........and I will have lots of pics!
