Hi everyone, I have been really obsessed with my weight problem. I am a 33 year old female and have gained 90lbs which makes the count to 210. I recently took out some of my summer clothes and they don’t fit me anymore!!! This is a real tragedy for me. How can I not wear the ones I adore...moreover the new look is getting me mad (with the comments from my friends). I know quite a few ways to start losing weight…….but I don’t really feel that, with so many people failing using these methods that I will make it through. Does anyone know a proven way to reduce the weight?

Please help me…..this is killing me!!!

I am 31 and have been on the diet yo yo most of my adult life. I am over 100lbs over weight and have tried any diet you can think of. I was seeking the lap band surgery when someone suggested Medifast. I had tried it before, lost weight and then got off plan,, normal for me.
It is not an easy plan, but it does work. Check out the message board on their website and you can get an good idea of what the plan is really like ....good and bad aspects.
Best of luck.

look into the "big breakfast diet" it has changed our lives. my husband lost 15lbs in the past 4 months and he has been happier than ever. It is not difficult, it doesn't feel like a diet at all, and we have no desire to ever stop the big breakfast lifestyle! Basically you eat a big breakfast with whole grains (most important, like old fashioned oatmeal) and protein, fruit, etc. and it helps stop snacking and overeating during the day. Lunch is smaller and dinner is smallest because big meals late in the day cause weight gain (you're not burning calories while you're sleeping, and your tummy needs to rest too!)
Also weight lifting, not jogging, takes off the pounds (this really surprised me and I didn't believe it at first!) so check into that too.

I'm there too. I've started eating properly, drinking water, and exercising. I've heard that women who don't weight train(sp?) have a more difficult time losing. Smaller, more frequent meals are more beneficial too. (Apparently doing that will keep the metabolism going.)
