All I do is complain on here about how tired I am. I did eat steak tonight - so maybe it will up my red blood cells.

Carly is getting up at 6 am. She doesn't have to get up until 7. So, for the past few mornings, I've gotten up, went into her room and got into her bed with her. She loves that. We spend some quiet time and I get to close my eyes. But, I must take my glasses off and I have to turn towards her. If I am lying down with my back to her she takes the covers off of me. If I face her, from time to time she will lie down next to me. We lie there, face to face, blow kisses at each other, and just gaze into each other's eyes.:):):)

Last night, at 3 am, I hear the dog crying. I looked downstairs (I can see his crate from the top of the stairs) and he was standing in his crate. So, I went down, put on a jacket, took him out and the poor thing was sick. Some how, I managed to get him out without waking up Carly (whose room is right by the door).

I slept on the couch near the dog in case he got sick again. Luckily, he just lay down and slept. Carly woke up at 6 and we did our thing, lying in bed together. But, I had to be in court and hour away from home, so I had to go out and now feel like crashing.

Carly has an MRI on her back and neck tomorrow. So, I have to take her to Baystate for that at 6:30. I want to go to bed now! But, I have to get her ready for bed and Duane is out right now.

I bought us new bed sheets (we put our feet through the top sheet of our old ones- ripped to shreds:eek:) and they are in the dryer. So, I still have to make the bed.

I didn't cook though. Treated the kids and myself to take out.

Awww. Jimmie got up at 4 am two nights in a row. David was home for a change, but actually was pretty much useless. He slept through it, and I had to get up anyway. Then last night it was so humid (and David had not put the ac in my bedroom window yet - he actually told me I could do it - for some reason he thinks 7 weeks pregnant is not really pregnant and I can do things like that) that I could not sleep even though Jimmie did. I made David put the ac in when he got home this morning. He agreed that it was too humid for comfort. Add to that I am 7 weeks pregnant and have the first trimester sleepies. Oh I understand alright.

So, she had her MRI and did very well. She woke up pretty nicely this time. No yelling -- was rather quiet and amused by what was going on around her.

I came home, handed her over to Duane and took a nap. And, we have a PCA today. But, taking a nap makes me feel worse; I don't wake up refreshed at all. Plus we have puppy class tonight.

Hugs for those of you who are so tired. I'm sorry because I know how it permeates every piece of your body, mind and soul. Hope you get relief soon. Lacey, you will have to wait a few weeks till you get that second trimester spurt of energy. Karen

I am glad to hear that Carly did well for her MRI. How soon before you get results? I think I must have missed something, I didn't know she was having one- is everything ok?

((hugs))

After listening to Ri scream all the way home from her pulmonologist appointment (over an hour away) today I had to lock myself in the bedroom and take a nap before her nurse left. I don't know if I could have taken another second of the screaming once I got out of the van... I felt better after my nap, but it was brief...
