Neurontin and vicodin

And body taking this combo for pain?

I know that my mother is. She takes the Neurontin for the neuropathy in her left hip and leg and the Vicodin for her back. She doesn't like having to take the meds but they do give her quite a bit of relief. she is 62.


I have in the past but the Neurontin for a different reason. It has mood stabilizing properties and the Vicodin for chronic pain.

I just had a recent back surgery...It got rid of most of my back and right hip pain...But now both of my lower legs are lit up and I have right foot drop...On the 18th I go for a lysis of adhesion for the L-4....Some sort of epidrel block...

But anyway the vicoden has been less and less effective...Just started the Neurontin today ..Will see what happens..

Try the Chronic Pain forum. there are many there that have far more knowledge than I do. Every one is very nice and you should get a lot more input.
