Over a month ago I had a CT and was diagnosed with a 4mm colloid cyst. I had my MRI last Wednesday and just got the results today that they "couldn't confirm what they found on the CT with the MRI". My doctor stated it was probably a "calcification that mimmicked a colloid cyst". I don't understand why 1 month ago they were certain of what they saw and now there is nothing there. I am picking up my copies if the CT and MRI tomorrow but was told that the radiologists don't meet with patients to discuss their findings. This is extremely frustrating! I am still having headaches and my PCP wants me to do a follow up MRI in three months. I still have an appointment with a Neurosurgeon on the 16th. I was thinking of going and having him review the test results just to be sure. I feel like they don't want to admit a misdiagnosis and no one will give me a staight answer. What do you all suggest I do?
