I have schizoaffective and got SSDI on first try, probably because I am 56. Age matters. Anyway, I am in a study with Social Security. They tell me that the research section of Social Security doesn't communicate with the benifits section. I meet with a nurse, a supported employment specialist and they talk to my psychiatrist and psychcologist. They say they will help me find a "competitive" job that doesn't pay over what I am allowed to earn (940).
How will all this affect a review when I have one? Is anyoen else in this study? Could be I am just paranoid. Does anyone else with mental illness recieve SSDI and work? How does this affect your review with Social Security?
Thanks
